Rev. Junior Spooner

Rev. Junior Spooner has served in pastoral ministry since 1995, beginning in Barbados. He later moved to Canada to complete his Master of Theological Studies in Hamilton, Ontario, and has continued serving in pastoral ministry in Canada since then. In 2022, he and his wife Camille came to Castlegar to serve at Kinnaird Church of God. He has over 30 years of pastoral ministry experience and a heart for teaching the Bible and serving the church and community.

Pastoral Opportunity

Kinnaird Church of God is seeking a passionate and dedicated pastor to lead our congregation as we enter a new season of ministry. With the upcoming retirement of Rev. Junior Spooner in January 2026, we are prayerfully searching for a Christ-centered leader who is committed to preaching the Word of God, shepherding a growing church family, and engaging with the local community.

Located in Castlegar, British Columbia, our church is a welcoming and active congregation with a heart for discipleship, outreach, and serving others. We are looking for a pastor who demonstrates strong biblical teaching, pastoral care, and a vision for spiritual growth within the church and the surrounding community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pastor who feels called to ministry in a close-knit, community-focused church in the beautiful Kootenay region of BC.
